BESA highly encourages coaches to educate themselves on the best practice for coaching young children to play the game of Soccer. US Soccer offers various classes and certifications for coaches education starting with the "National F Certification." This certification serves as the base point for continuing your education. The class is an online course which takes about 2 hours to complete. The course allows you to stop and pick up from where you finished.
Once you have completed this course watch this webpage for future "on-field" courses to show you some drills and techniques to help you teach your players the basics of soccer. To register for the F clinic follow the link, create your US Soccer Coaches ID and you will be able to take the course.
There is a $25 fee to register for this course, BESA will refund your registration fee upon verification of completion of the course.

--Do not openly question an official's judgment and honesty. Officials are symbols of fair play, integrity, and sportsmanship.
The referees are trying diligently to make the correct decision.
--Remember that your child learns by example. Children mimic what their parents say.
Criticism of the coach, officials, teammates, and/or opponents fosters bad attitudes and can only lead to a negative experience for your child.
--A parent must never be verbally or physically violent or threatening with any coach, parent, player, or representative of their Member Association or NTSSA.
--The opponents are necessary friends; without them your child could not participate.
--Always be positive with your comments
The PUMA Play it Loud Boot Tour made its way to Euless, Texas this past Saturday. Five teams came out to win a pair of boots and two lucky winners won a $200 pair for themselves. Congrats to JT with the Firestorm and Kat Hinds with the Panthers.

Bedford Euless Soccer Association (BESA) is a local non-profit educational organization comprised of dedicated volunteers and community stakeholders with the mission to proactively impact the development of our community, through teaching and demonstrating teamwork, promoting leadership skills, and cultivating long term relationships while fostering the physical, mental, and emotional growth of our players, at the same time developing soccer skills, building self-confidence, and promoting positive citizenship through the opportunity to participate in the game of soccer.
The organization and the individuals who participate in it are governed by the By- Laws of the Bedford Euless Soccer Association as well as the rules and regulations of the North Texas State Soccer Association and the United State Youth Soccer Association. BESA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors which is elected at the spring general meeting. As we are a volunteer association, all board members, coaches, referees, and team representatives are individuals dedicated to seeing that children have the opportunity to participate in the game of soccer.
