Note: Former players may see an option to select a Returning Player discount; however, this ONLY applies to those who paid for the Spring 2020 season. Registration fees will be adjusted if the incorrect rate is selected.


We ask that you register online if at all possible. If you need assistance with your password, please use the Password Lookup link. New Players: Please bring a copy of the player's birth certificate for age verification.

We ask that in order to maintain social distancing and limit the number of people in the space at one time, you adhere to the following requests:

  • All people inside of the StarsCenter must wear a mask.
  • Limit the number of family members in attendance; ideally, just a parent or a parent & player should attend.
  • We will not have seating available in order to minimize surfaces needing to be cleaned; BESA board staff will also be limited as to simply focus just on registrations.
  • Do your best to come at the designated time based on the first initial of the player's last name:
    • 9am-11am: Last Names beginning with A-H
    • 11am-1pm: Last names beginning with I-P
    • 1pm-3pm: Last names beginning with Q-Z
    • We understand these times won't work for everyone but please try to come at the designated time to keep the space safe for everyone.

Online Registration

  • Online registration is through GotSoccer/GotSport and everyone must have an account with GotSoccer/GotSport. New users will have to create a new account
  • If you are a returning player from the last season you can request your ID and Password from GotSoccer. Click on "Player Password Lookup" in the existing accounts box.
  • If you have more than one player to register create a new "FAMILY ACCOUNT" and create your player profiles for each player to make the registration process faster
  • An email address is required to register online
  • You must provide a phone number and emergency contact information during the registration
  • New players are required to provide a copy of the player's official birth certificate before being placed on a team. Copies can be emailed to the registrar at
  • Receive an additional $5 discount for each additional player from the same family. Must have and use the Family Account in GotSoccer to receive discount. (This does not apply with other discounts.)
  • Any discount vouchers can be used in step 2 of the process. Enter the number on the voucher in the voucher box. Numbers can only be used one time.
  • ALL U13 and older players and all coaches are required to have a picture ID card. After you have completed registration please sign into your GotSoccer 

Playing Ages

  • 3 years to 18 years old. Players must be 3 years of age by August 31 in order to play in the Fall season and must be 3 years of age by December 31 in order to play in the Spring season.
  • The age of a player for purpose of league play shall be the player’s age on December 31 of the current soccer year.
  • Players must NOT be older than 18 by December 31. 
  • The current soccer year begins on September 1 and ends August 31 of the following year.
  • A birth certificate is required for all new players to verify age. Please send a copy to

Registration Fees & Rules

  • New and Returning Players $95.00 (U4 $85.00)
  • $5.00 discount for each additional player from the same family (does not apply on discounted registrations)
  • Fees include uniform and socks.
  • Late registration is on a space available basis only and the cost is non-refundable. (No discounts)
  • Payment Plans are available by contacting our Registrar. A $5 processing fee will be applied to each separate payment.
  • A player is considered a “registered player” only after the following three conditions have been met:
    • Online registration has been completed
    • The registration fee has been paid
    • The player date of birth has been verified. Players with birth certificates issued outside of the United States must complete the FIFA International Clearance Process before being assigned to a team.

Refund Policy

  • All refunds will be assessed a $10 administrative fee.
  • 100% (less administrative fee) up to 7 days after close of open registration
  • 50%  (less administrative fee) up to season start date (First scheduled league game)
  • No Refunds after season has begun
  • No Refunds if registered during Late Registration
  • Refund requests must be in writing to the attention of the Registrar through the BESA website or mailed to:

Game Dates

  • Spring Season games begin in February. Fall Season games begin in August.
  • Most games are played on Saturdays; however, due to scheduling and field availability, some groups may have a few weekday evening and/or Sunday afternoon games.
  • Game schedules, rules and field location maps are available online. See the Fields Page for links to other associations. 

Each fall, all players will receive a new uniform consisting of a numbered shirt, shorts and socks. Each spring, the returning players will use their uniform they received in the fall, and any new players will receive a new uniform prior to the beginning of the season. Every player must wear shin guards during practices and games. Suitable athletic shoes or cleats should be worn. Please use the following listing when determining the correct size soccer ball for your child.


Practice Times and Locations
Coaches are responsible for establishing team practice times and locations.

Practices for the U05/U06 age group are limited to one 1-hour session per week.

For the U07/U08 age group, two 1-hour sessions per week.

For the U09 and older age groups, two 2-hour sessions per week.

We are in need of volunteer coaches and assistant coaches in all age groups. Past coaching experience is not a requirement. All of our coaches are required to have a U6/U8 Youth License. BESA provides a U6/U8 Youth License Module Clinic regularly. If you are at all interested in helping, please contact your age group commissioner.

Team Formation
Children are placed on teams based on appropriate age grouping in their neighborhood PUBLIC school area. We do not honor requests for children to be placed on a specific team.
